Employee Flu Shot Clinic October 4th - 15th!

ISU WellBeing is once again partnering with Ames Lab Occupational Medicine to provide flu vaccinations to eligible ISU employees. The vaccine is provided at no cost as a service through ISU WorkLife and WellBeing. This year flu vaccinations will be available October 4 - October 15 from 9:00am - 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday at State Gym, south gym.

Yoga in the Yard with Recreation Services

Yoga in the Yard is a summer event you do not want to miss out on! Held in the evenings on the south side of the Campanile there will be FREE Yoga events hosted by Iowa State Recreation Services! If you or anyone you know is interested in participating the event dates and times are as follows:

  • Thursday July 18 at 5:30 PM
  • Monday July 22 at 5:30 PM
  • Monday July 29 at 5:30 PM

Rest, Resiliency, and Digital Detox with B. Luke Seaward!

ISU WellBeing welcomes Brian Luke Seaward, speaker, author, and stress management guru! Luke is providing two presentations this week. Getting a Good Night's Sleep: Rest, Resiliency, and the Art of Digital Detox opens in the lecture series, Tuesday, April 2 at 7:00 p.m. in the Sun Room at the Memorial Union. Then Mindfulness in the Workplace follows on Wednesday, April 3 from 3:30 - 5:00 p.m. at Carver, Room 0001. No registration required. 

Friday Walk & Talks Spring 2019

Beginning March 29 at 12:15 in front of Beardshear Hall, we’ll walk one mile around our beautiful campus! The spring walks will be every Friday until May 17 with a total of eight Friday walks. These 30 minute walks are a great way to enjoy nice spring weather, mingle with colleagues, or just take a break from the office. ISU WellBeing will join you for the one-mile walk in almost any weather: rain, snow (surely no snow!), cloudy days, and hopefully a lot of sunny days! You are always welcome to walk the one mile route at your own pace

Celebrate Human Sciences Week with a walk!

Join your colleagues in celebrating your health and the Department of Kinesiology as part of Human Sciences Week. The celebration will kick off on Wednesday, October 11th from 12 - 1:00 p.m. at the south MacKay Hall lawn. Co-chairs of Human Sciences Week, Dean Laura Jolly and Mitch Stephenson will share welcome and comments with the walk commencing at 12:30 p.m. Snacks will be provdied by Fresh Thyme.

Cyday Friday Walk 2018

Friday, October 12th at 12:15 pm, ISU WellBeing will host its third annual employee Cyday Friday Walk.  ISU WellBeing is teaming up with Cyday Friday (student event) to show employee support for our Cyclones. We are adding a walk to promote walking, well-being and employee participation throughout campus.
