Monday, April 4: 

ISU Extension and Outreach: Money Smart: When Money Is Short – Prioritizing Bills, Protecting Credit and Managing Debt- A Three Part Virtual Series  | 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm  OR  6:00 pm - 7:00 pm 

Participants will improve their financial wellbeing by developing an emergency spending plan, creating a prioritized bill paying strategy based on future consequences, developing skills to improve their own credit and learning strategies to manage debt. Specialists in financial health and wellbeing with ISU Extension and Outreach will lead the program using research-based strategies to decide which bills and monthly expenses to pay first, how to protect one’s credit record, and strategies to manage debt even when money is short. Tuesday, April 5:

ISU WellBeing: Mid-Morning Mindfulness  | 10:00 am - 10:15 am  | Zoom

There is no better way to stay focused and productive when things around you are a little chaotic than to practice mindfulness. Join your colleagues and the ISU WellBeing team, and special guests, every Tuesday and Thursday mornings for a simple 15-minute mindfulness experience. Mindspring Mental Health Alliance Webinar: Stress: Signs, Symptoms, Management, and Prevention | 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm 

The term ‘stress’ is used loosely in our culture. What does it really mean and how vulnerable are you? Understand the biology of stress and explore realistic and practical ways to manage distress in this one-hour seminar with a licensed therapist. For more information and to register, click here

Wednesday, April 6:

ISU WellBeing: Experience the Strolls for Well-being at ISU | 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm | 3-part series including April 20 and May 4.

Come and experience the Strolls for Well-being with others in our ISU Community. You will learn what the Strolls are, how they work and then set out and explore during the workshops. Participants will enjoy three in-person workshops using the Spring Guidebook and learn how a practice of mindfulness you can reduce stress and support your overall well-being. We will discuss how to incorporate the Strolls into your work and home life and infuse mindfulness. This is a great option for individuals, teams, departments and working with students. This initiative is a collaboration with ISU WellBeing and the Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching (CELT). For more information and to register, click here. For more information on the Strolls for Well-being at ISU, click here.

ISU WellBeing: Friday Walk and Talk  |  12:10 pm | Steps outside Beardshear Hall

Our Friday Walk & Talks have resumed! Meet us for a one mile walk around our picturesque ISU campus. Come walk and talk with friends, colleagues, or just come and enjoy the beauty of campus. Join ISU WorkLife and WellBeing and de-stress from the week. The Friday Walk and Talks are an excellent way to connect and network with others! Walks will continue every Friday through May 20, 2022.
