While our Walk and Talks have "officially" ended until Spring 2022, we still encourage everyone to get out and walk as weather permits! For more information and resources for walking on campus, click here. As we know, winter weather in Iowa can be unpredictable so if we have an unseasonably warm day and anyone feels like a group walk, send out a Campus Connection note in Adventure2 and see if your colleagues are up for an impromptu walk around campus! You can also check out our newest program, Strolls for Well-Being at ISU, for other ideas on combining walking and mindfulness.

Wednesday March 30: Employee & Family Resources EAP Emotional Intelligence Webinar Series: Rediscovering Our Why | 9:00 am - 11:00 am

Do you find yourself feeling “lost” at times, wondering why events happen to you, feeling like you’re just “going through the motions” day to day, or feeling unclear about how to make the “best” decision or move forward in your life? These are not unusual feelings or questions, particularly in a world that seems increasingly divisive and confusing. This workshop will help you get back to the important values that are a compass point for “what I want to stand for,” no matter what life throws at you or where you’re at in life right now. We will explore how to use these values to set actionable goals and “lean into” challenges so that you can clearly make decisions that move you toward “who you want to be” in any given situation. Registration is open at LEARN@ISU
