  • Staying Charged Through Change: | 1:00 - 2:30 pm  Change is constant and a part of our daily lives. This workshop focuses on identifying the change and transition process, how we respond to change, and how we can build resilience to change to manage with the least amount of stress. Participants will be given tips on how to handle change, as well as adjust their attitudes toward the inevitable twists and turns of daily life. The concept of building resiliency is also explored.   • Lifting the Veil- Young Adults in Limbo | 12:00 - 1:00 pm 

Young adults in their late teens and twenties have found their lives deeply disrupted during the last year. Interruptions in college, difficulties finding work post-graduation or working remotely have created new and unique challenges for this group. Young adults, their parents, employers and providers will benefit from this session’s frank conversation that will lay out the facts, provide information about how to recognize and treat mental health issues, and offer where to turn for support.This will be a virtual talk-show -style event, with dsm contributor and Iowa business leader Deidre DeJear leading candid conversations with mental health leaders, who will respond to questions from viewers.
