  • Family Friday WorkLife webinar: Parenting Through a Pandemic: A Focus on Families K-5 - 10:00 - 11:00 am

Join us for an opportunity to learn, review, and share tips, tricks, and tools to use as we continue to navigate through the unique struggles of being a working parent amidst a global pandemic. With all of the uncertainty and back and forth we face daily regarding work and school policies and procedures it’s no wonder parenting seems like it’s just harder. You are invited to share some of your perspective and struggles throughout this time, connect with others, and learn new tools to try out at home. Presented by Megan Wych, Clinical Manager with Employee and Family Resources. Click here to register!

ISU WellBeing is committed to creating a walking community (even virtually) for ISU employees. To support this community, we are continuing with the Friday Walk and Talks, but just not as a large group on campus. Whether you are on campus or working remotely, having to maintain physical distancing can feel isolating at times. We want to support you in every way. Join us virtually by taking the time to get up, get out, and walk for your well-being!

This fall (September 4- November 20) we are continuing to encourage you to take a break from the work you are doing and go on a one-mile walk with us every Friday. There are lots of ways to connect during this time and we have listed a few below for you to try:

  • Join the ISU WellBeing team via Webex every Friday at 12:10 pm!
  • Call a colleague, family member, or friend and talk on the phone while you walk
  • Encourage those in your place of residence to walk with you – kids, spouse, etc.
  • Take your pet on a walk – good for you, good for them.
