The local food festival, last Tuesday, September 13, was a tremendous success. The event hosted more than 2,500 employees and students, more than doubling its attendance from the previous year.
The vendors and volunteers put in hours of work before and during the event. If you made your way on to campus before the sun came up, you may have seen them setting up on that rainy Tuesday morning. With that being said, the real success came from the employees and students. Without you, the event would have been a bust. Many of you were seen chatting with the vendors, testing various recipes, and learning growing tips. Thank you for coming out, grabbing a few samples, and maybe even purchasing a few goods to take home. Your contribution and interest will lead this annual event into another year.
