For a fee, Environmental Health and Safety offers worksite ergonomic evaluations at your office.

 

Explore seasonal produce (sourced by various Department of Horticulture research projects, and multi-department student organizations (Student Organic Farm)) that is available for purchase with on campus pick-ups on Friday. All produce for sale is grown at the Horticulture Research Station and is freshly harvested.

Iowa State Recreation Services pride themselves on “creating programs for everyone”. With a plethora of information, resources, and activities there is plenty to choose from! Below we give brief descriptions of some but not all of the programs that are available to you.

Group Fitness

Iowa State Recreation Services provides a variety of programs! Group Fitness is one way to get active during your day. To register and look at the schedule for this semesters fitness classes click here. You can box, do Pilates, or even yoga!

Personal Training

Looking for a more individualized program? Recreation Services also provides Personal Training! This is a great opportunity for you and the students. Student personal trainers will work one on one with you and create a personalized program. For your own individualized program or more information follow this link.

Outdoor Recreation Program

Have you ever wanted to try rock climbing walls? Or to take an outdoor weekend trip? If so Iowa State's Adventure Program provide you with the resources to try a few new things!

The Exercise Clinic at ISU is an on-campus adult fitness program sponsored by the Kinesiology Department and has been in existence since 1974. It operates under the direction of Warren D. Franke, Ph.D., a faculty member in this department.

Discover the Iowa State Lectures Program, a collaborative effort between the Student Government and the Office of the Provost. The program works to bring to campus a broad spectrum of lectures, political debates, and academic forums; cultural events, including musical performances and art and dance programs; and entertainment, such as film and comedy. All lectures are free and open to the public.

Learn about Network Community Counseling Services, which is affiliated with the Psychology Department of Iowa State University. Network provides individual and group counseling to the people of central Iowa for a low cost (between $5 and $20/session).
