Flu Vaccine Clinic comes early this year!

ISU WellBeing is partnering with Occupational Medicine to provide flu vaccinations to eligible ISU employees. The vaccine is provided at no cost as a service through ISU WellBeing.

This year flu vaccinations will be available Monday - Friday from September 21 to October 2

NEW LOCATION - Stephens Auditorium at the Iowa State Center.

It's that time of year... Get your flu shot!

ISU WellBeing is once again partnering with Occupational Medicine to provide flu vaccinations to eligible ISU employees. The vaccine is provided at no cost as a service through ISU WellBeing. This year flu vaccinations will be available October 7 - October 18 from 9:00am - 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday at 205 TASF.

Protect Yourself from the Measles before the Students Return

Before the students return to campus in mid-August, make sure you are protected against the Measles virus. As of last spring, the Measles virus has spread across the United States and made its way to Iowa. Currently, two confirmed cases have been reported in the state. This is a highly contagious disease that spreads easily through airborne droplets around the unvaccinated populations, such as babies and those with autoimmune diseases.

Eating Disorder Awareness Week, Feb 27 - Mar 4

Body Image and Eating Disorder Awareness (BIEDA) a new student organization is planning a series of events the week of Feb 27th in support of Eating Disorder Awareness Week. The events include a documentary on why poor body image has become a global epidemic, a presentation by James "Buck" Runyan covering what eating disorders are and more importantly what they are not, and a Rock Your Body Party!

Flu Shot Clinic Goes Paperless this Fall!

Occupational medicine staff will still provide the flu shot for ISU WellBeing this fall. Be ready to check out our new, more efficient, paperless process this year! Participants will sign on Ipads for an electronic record and release. The 2018 flu clinic is scheduled for October 1 - October 12 from 9:00 - 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday.
