Monday, February 22: 

  • ISU WellBeing:  NEW - Meditation 301:  Beyond Mindfulness - Working with Difficult Emotions

In partnership with ISU Professor of Psychology and Zen monk Dr. Douglas Gentile, these sessions will focus on using meditation and contemplative techniques to work with anxiety and other difficult emotions. Email WorkLife to receive a registration link.

  • ISU WellBeing Webinar: Mid-Morning Mindfulness - 10:00 - 10:15 am - there is a new Zoom link for 2021.  Follow the link and register to join us.

There is no better way to stay focused and productive when all around you is a little chaotic than to practice mindfulness. Join your colleagues and the ISU WellBeing team, and special guests, every Tuesday and Thursday mornings for a simple 15-minute mindfulness experience. For more information go here.   

  • EAP Webinar: BE-I-N-G Well During COVID with Warren Phillips, Ph.D. - 12:00 - 1:00 pm

    BE-I-N-G Well During COVID is an interactive Workshop that presents an opportunity for self-care, compassion, and connection.     We want to connect with you! Every Wednesday join your WorkLife at ISU team, or special guest, in a conversation on work-life balance during these challenging times.     Confronting problems can be challenging. Heightened emotionality, irrational thinking, impaired judgment, impulsivity, and distorted perceptions interfere with our ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently. ISU WellBeing is committed to creating a walking community (even virtually) for ISU employees. To support this community, we are continuing with the Friday Walk and Talks, but just not as a large group on campus. Whether you are on campus or working remotely, having to maintain physical distancing can feel isolating at times. We want to support you in every way.
