Mindspring Mental Health Alliance Webinar: Relationships, Family, and Mental Health | 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

If you are feeling stressed, overwhelmed, or simply need a break – practicing mindfulness supports your well-being and work-life harmony. The Strolls for Well-being at ISU offer opportunities on campus, or to pause where you are, and are designed to be flexible. Come and explore how the Strolls can fit in your schedule, whether you have 30 minutes or 5 minutes. This initiative is a collaboration with ISU WellBeing and the Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching (CELT). For more information and to register, click here

Mindspring Mental Health Alliance Webinar: Introduction To Children's Mental Health | 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm 

Mentally healthy children are able to reach developmental & emotional milestones, have positive social skills, and healthy ways to cope with problems.   One of the most important ways we can strengthen the mental health of children is by recognizing when children need support for their mental health. This introductory webinar explores how culture impacts our understanding of children’s mental health, some of the most common mental health symptoms and diagnoses for children, and when to seek help. ISU WellBeing: Friday Walk and Talk  |  12:10 pm | Steps outside Beardshear Hall

Our Friday Walk & Talks have resumed! Meet us for a one mile walk around our picturesque ISU campus. Come walk and talk with friends, colleagues, or just come and enjoy the beauty of campus. Join ISU WorkLife and WellBeing and de-stress from the week. The Friday Walk and Talks are an excellent way to connect and network with others! Walks will continue every Friday through May 20, 2022. Join us to explore awareness strategies to become more present and embodied. Using the principles of The Alexander Technique, a mind/body awareness practice, we will discover more balance, ease, and flow while learning to release tension, stress, and pain.
