There is no better way to stay focused and productive when things around you are a little chaotic than to practice mindfulness. Join your colleagues and the ISU WellBeing team virtually every Tuesday and Thursday morning for a simple 15-minute mindfulness experience. For more information, click here. Mindspring Mental Health Alliance Webinar: Why Can't I Just Stop? Understanding OCD in Children and Teens | 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Children with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder usually know that persistent negative thoughts & compulsive behaviors are not typical and desperately want to stop, but they don’t know how. Oftentimes they hide their symptoms from the world out of embarrassment and shame, causing them to feel isolated & misunderstood. Discuss OCD symptoms and causes with a licensed therapist, as well as the impact on social and emotional development. It’s not unusual for children and teenagers to be defiant, and to question authority on occasion. Friday Walk and Talks resume today! Meet us for a one mile walk around our picturesque ISU campus. Come walk and talk with friends, colleagues, or just come and enjoy the beauty of campus. Join ISU WorkLife and WellBeing and de-stress from the week. The Friday Walk and Talks are an excellent way to connect and network with others!
